Can you help us identify where our data might be?
Yes. Working out where relevant data might sit is usually the first thing we do. We map the likely sources with you and your/client IT team (email, chat platforms, mobiles, shared drives, cloud systems, archives) before anything is collected, so scope is based on evidence rather than guesswork.
How far do you travel to collect data?
As far as the matter requires. We collect across the UK as standard and regularly work internationally where a matter calls for it. Remote collection is often an option too.
How involved does my legal team need to be?
As involved as you want to be. Some teams want a daily working relationship; others want a weekly update and no surprises. Either way, the decisions stay with you and the technical work stays with us.
Do you adhere to ACPO guidelines?
Yes. Our forensic work follows the ACPO principles for digital evidence (now maintained under NPCC guidance), with collections performed by trained practitioners using forensically sound, documented methods.
What accreditations do you have?
We are ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and Cyber Essentials Plus certified, and the CYFOR Group operates an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited digital forensics laboratory. Certificates are available on request.
